TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Agreement
By booking and attending driving lessons, the pupil agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Lessons
•    Lessons will begin and end at the agreed location unless otherwise arranged.
•    Lesson duration will be as booked.
•    Instructor will provide tuition to a professional standard and in accordance with current driving regulations.
•    Instructor reserves the right to refuse or end a lesson where safety is compromised.

3. Payment
•    Payment must be made before or at the start of each lesson unless otherwise agreed.
•    Block bookings must be paid for in advance.
•    Prices may be amended with reasonable notice.
•    Unused lessons within a block booking are non-transferable unless agreed by Instructor).

4. Cancellation Policy
•    At least 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or rearrange a lesson.
•    Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged at the full lesson fee.
•    If Instructor cancels a lesson, it will be rearranged at no additional cost or refunded.

5. Pupil Responsibilities
Pupil agrees to:
•    Hold a valid provisional or full driving licence as required.
•    Produce their driving licence upon request.
•    Inform Instructor of any medical condition, medication, or change in circumstances that may affect their ability to drive.
•    Wear suitable footwear for driving.
•    Refrain from attending lessons under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

6. Instructor Responsibilities
Instructor agrees to:
•    Hold the appropriate driving instructor qualifications and insurance.
•    Maintain a roadworthy, insured, and legally compliant training vehicle.
•    Conduct lessons in a safe and professional manner.
•    Treat pupils with courtesy and respect.

7. Driving Tests
•    Instructor will advise when the pupil is considered ready for the practical driving test.
•    Use of Instructor's vehicle for a driving test is at Instructor's discretion.
•    If the Instructor believes pupil presents a safety risk, use of the vehicle for the test may be refused.
•    Test fees payable to the licensing authority are the pupil's responsibility.

8. Lesson Conduct
The instructor may terminate a lesson immediately if the pupil:
•    Behaves aggressively or abusively.
•    Is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•    Acts in a way that places anyone at risk.
•    Damages the vehicle deliberately.
No refund will be given for lessons terminated for these reasons.

9. Block Bookings and Refunds
•    Refunds for unused prepaid lessons may be granted at the instructor's discretion, less any lessons already taken at the standard hourly rate.
•    Refunds will normally be processed within 14 days.
•    Promotional offers cannot be exchanged for cash.

10. Vehicle Breakdown
If a lesson cannot continue due to vehicle breakdown or mechanical failure, the remaining lesson time will be rearranged or refunded.

11. Data Protection
The instructor will collect and process personal information only for the purpose of providing driving tuition, managing bookings, and complying with legal obligations. Personal information will not be shared with third parties except where required by law.

12. Liability
The instructor accepts no responsibility for losses arising from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, or vehicle breakdown.

13. Complaints
Any complaints should be raised with the instructor in writing within 14 days. Every effort will be made to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.

14. Changes to Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. Existing pupils will be notified of significant changes before they take effect.

15. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which the instructor operates.
